Guian more attractive to investors
The total number of market players in Guian New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has reached 20,021, with a complete registered capital of 508.98 billion yuan ($74.117 billion). This represents a huge step up from the 15,662 players worth 426.15 billion yuan at the end of 2017.
Experts attribute the large growth to the improvement of the business environment in the area, which has been proven by a series of measures going into effect in February, including comprehensive government services, a one-certification system, and one-window service.
Since implementing the measures, the number of market players has increased by 168 percent and registered capital has risen by 153 percent. The time needed to open a business in Guian has also been reduced to just three days.
In addition, public facilities like cinemas, pharmacies, and internet bars can now be managed with just one certificate.
In recent years, Guian has strived to provide the simplest, cheapest, and most flexible business environment for investors, looking to attract more investment.
