Guian new area compresses documents
Since Nov 29, the departments of Guian new area in Southwest China's Guizhou province have been working on compressing documents to provide more convenient services for local enterprises and individuals.
To implement the move in a more practical way, the area held a special meeting, attracting more than 30 representatives from administrative authorities and enterprises, lawyers and members of the public.
In accordance with the five principles of "legality, rationality, simplicity, convenience and sharing", certification procedures and materials are expected to be consolidated.
The area aims to reduce the number of certificates by 30 percent and, as of November, suggestions have been made for the abolishment of 166 different kinds of documents.
